Far from civilization on a big island is a majestic plain and some big hills named Windhillur.

Untouched by human greed and destruction it stands as a beacon of hope and remains as holy as ever.

There are a lot of mystical creatures living on the island including a a glowing red eagle-like bird that turns the sky crimson every half moon.

Epic!

Hey, DanJohanssen, it's been a while, and I see you have been busy! Nicely done! A couple of years ago, I asked if I could have used one of your songs as background music for one of my videos (here's the link, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmVBS1LJIuA).
Of course, things might change through those years, so again I must ask kindly: can I use this song for one of my next videos? I'll probably not gonna get anything from it, but it is mostly for self-promotion and reference for more future videos to come. As before, I will credit you fully for it. The video is tomorrow.

DanJohansen responds:

Thanks a ton man, glad you enjoyed the track! You may use for sure, just link to the track here and it's all good :)

After the first listen, I was a bit indifferent to this one. After listening again. I began to understand the feel you were trying to capture in the song. It has a great majestic sound and fits well with a fantasy RPG. In fact, I had to put my mind set as if I'm listening to a soundtrack from a fantasy RPG game and suddenly it started to piece well together. I could totally hear this in a game like that.
Now to unleash my orchestral geek side! 00:34 - 00:48 isn't my favorite chord progression to hear, but that part that comes after it, 00:49 - 01:05 to be exact, just flowed nicely and dare I say beautifully. I find myself going back to that part quite a bit. 02:13 - the end, I felt really captured what you were trying to accomplish with the majestic sound and that calm down of the ending was really well done.
My orchestral geek out aside, this is a very well done song. After the first listen, I wasn't sure if I was feeling it but after really engaging into listening, I'm actually very impressed. Well done sir!

DanJohansen responds:

Awesome in depth review. I went for making a very breathing and different type of track when I made this. I thought it was fun and interesting experimenting. I did this whole tune with my keyboard as well, which I never really do normally.

Glad you were able to get what I was doing with the track though, it's not really my style to do a lot of the stuff I did here, but I thought it was very satisfying creatively and ended up being a cool diversity.

I'm not very fan of this one but the end of the music is really cool !

DanJohansen responds:

Glad you enjoyed the ending then! haha
Thanks for listening dude!
