Great job!

I really like listening to this. It seems to create a scene of death, not actual death, but like feeling dead inside. I see a mother realizing that her son has massacred a large number of people for a known reason, perhaps for revenge, but he went too far. Dead children and elderly lie bloody on the floor next to the son's own corpse. After killing everyone in his mourning rage, he killed himself to end his torment.

Really well done. I originally thought Labyrinth of Mourning was a poor title for this piece, but after some thought I realized that I could never think of a better or more fitting title. I don't know if you meant for it to mean this, but I see it depicting a maze of emotions that cannot be avoided, so to escape he just ends it all.

Very very well done!

That's a really good metaphor for this song! Of course, it could have many meanings, but yes, this song is supposed to be solemn and morose. Thx for the review and stick around for more submissions!

Wow, a demo music mixer!?

Well, that explains a lot. I mean although there really isn't much here but some strings and a drum, I guess it makes good rising conflict music in like an epic movie, not "Epic Movie". I mean in like war movies like Troy, or something else...more could be done, but seeing as you're working with the difficulties of a demo, well done...

mechboy responds:

XD Yeah...just a song I made up out of the blue...still exploring FL Studios, but I'll get to the point where I'll know how to make excellent classical music. Stay tuned for more songs! Thx for the review!

FL 6

I thought FL Studio demos don't allow to save your work. Pretty nice piece here. Add to it though. Add huge bass sounds and maybe some background beat.

thx for the advice! I'll remember it when I make more songs!

Very neat!

I really like the quality of the stringed instruments. Really nice. The melody is also really appealing, kinda lulls you :P

My only major complaint (since you have a demo, and I won't like, critique on stuff that's really hard to deal with considering time constraints) is the bass drum. It's a little too punchy. I mean, if you can eliminate the punch of the bass drum, that would be great. You want it to pierce through, but not in an annoying way.

-Really great first song, totally love it :D

thx for the review! Kind of hard to work with a demo music mixer, but I had some fun with this song. another problem I really would have liked to fix was that at one point in the song, the strings got louder, but then softer once again. It would be nice to know how to fix those problems in the future...now about the bass drum, would have fixed it, but with the FL demo, as all people using FL Studios should know, I can't save any work, then improve on it later...can't wait to get more money so I can get the real deal! XD thx once again for the supportive review!
