My first remix in almost a year! After I found out there was a remix contest going on for this one, I decided to listen to it. I looked it up on Spotify, and it was actually really cool. For a modern-day future bass track, it was creative, and nice. So I decided to download the stems and start remixing. The end result was this mess of a song. It's far from my best work (I think I like my Way To You remix more than this), and it's, as I said, a mess, but I think it's okay. The master was only finished today, A.K.A. one day before the contest ends. There's always something about me and entering contests at the very end. I guess I wanted to maximize my time spent on this.
I did do some improv on my keyboard with the main melody, especially during the second drop. Not too sure if it was a good idea or not, but I didn't want it to sound the exact same as the original.
The chiptune part in the middle was my personal favorite part to work on. Chiptune was always one of my favorite genres, and it's not an Evilgrapez song without some of it.
I guess overall it's a decent remix. Not too good, not too bad. I hope you enjoy it. I have more tracks coming soon, too.
