Heya! This is a chiptune arrangement of "Battle on the Breachmaker", a Guild Wars 2 song by Lena Chappelle, with nods to the "Storm Top" track from the Super Adventure Box: Back to School OST, also written by Lena.

I mostly wrote this as a tribute to Super Adventure Box, a very fun game mode released around April every year in Guild Wars 2.

Some stats!
- Software used: FL Studio, Bleep, Magical 8-Bit, BiT BOX, Omnisphere, Vengeance, 3xOsc, DSK ChoirZ
- Time taken: 18 hours 10 minutes
- Number of channels (instruments): 28
- Number of playlist tracks: 57
- Number of automation clips: 106

Hope you enjoy.

I just noticed that you had this out. I guess I'm more than a bit late for it, huh? Anyways.. this is pretty incredible. I don't know how you keep taking my favorite songs from this game and making them better, but damn.. nice....

A VGM track from Step?! My life is complete. I love the cutesy effects and the sense of climax into :35. Personally, I thought the melodies during the refrain were a little underwhelming, or at the very least the climax oversold it. The mixing and mastering are great as always, though, and that creepy melody at 1:40 kills! Nice job with the sound design. I can't believe people would dare rip on 3xOsc after this. XD The crash (if you could call it a crash) at the end was also rather enjoyable. In fact, you did a great job playing with the Lo-fi throughout this piece. Always a pleasure hearing new tracks from you, Step. Looking forward to hearing more of your work! ;)

I'm very glad you've returned! I love this track and I look forward to hearing more from you. Despite your relative inactivity, I was still greatly inspired by your work, particularly "Becoming Independent".

The fact that you're trying to make music of multiple genres is a really good way to experiment. When you master it, however, it's also a really good way to entertain your audience. What I'm tryna say here is thay you did a really good job on this piece! Congratulations! Making music is actually a really good thing, TBH, too bad I cannot say I'm good enough to produce something good. Keep it up!

Aah, so Step finally releases his first track this year! That's great news :)

To add to that, It's really good! The static in the background is used in a really tasteful manner (imo), and almost dabbles in the grungy field. The mix is quite crisp, and the sound is dynamic! I also like the instruments, and the arrangement. Anyway, I didn't really come here to write an actual review, but mostly to say that I'm glad you uploaded something, and that you worked on it to the point where it sounds awesome :D
Welp, time to relisten on Youtube :3

Thank you for sharing, and keep it up! ^ ^

Step responds:

Hello hello hello! Long time no see.

I have been terrible with making music lately. It always feels like there's never time for it. I was almost not going to make this, but I ended up going for it, and I'm glad I did. I'm reminded of how DAMN FUN making music is haha.

Thanks a lot for dropping by. Means a lot!
