"that made me all depressed"

date: April 30, 2007

hmm. that was good, but it kinda made me all sad. wtf.

anywho, ive got to ask, what was your inspiration for this. the lyrics ran pretty deep and sad. i loved the bass in this though. its volume was just right, and i could actually hear it. there was a bit too much emptyness to your voice for my taste, due to the echo, but other then that i saw no major flaws, except for a small hiccup when the electric guitar came in, and there was a small but noticeable delay.

the solo at the end was also good. you seem to favor a more treble-y sound when it comes to electric guitar. the reason i bring this up is because the sharp treble sound didnt really mesh well with the song or the bass.

i know i sound like an ass pointing out every little flaw in the song, but im pointing out things to correct next time. overall, the song was good though. 5ed.

holy shit... if that review makes as little sense as i think it did im sorry.

Peace.

Lol! Thanks alot, man.
You know I love your reviews - even when you're stoned. XD

I totally understand your nitpickings, but keep in mind; this was just a draft really. It's not a finished song. Glad you liked it though...and also - sorry it made you sad. ;P

"I really like this one."

date: March 20, 2007

Seriously, I think this is one of my favorites from you. Despite the sound quality, I think the acoustic and electric blend seemlessly. The lyrics are deep. You like sad things don't you? Like I'm any better. lol. Sad stuff is just easier to write about for some reason. Anyway, personally, I think this track deserves some platinum attention. I bet it would if Newgrounds would allow a bigger meg limit. Oh well. Summing it up, an awesome song, and a naitzmic favorite for me.

"A few lines about this song:"

date: February 9, 2007

First of all, I have to apologize for the
sound quality. It's horrible (just listen to
the accoustic guitar. It's bleh!).
I had to do it like this though, because
this song was so fucking long, and I didn't wanna split it up into different parts.

It started out as a purely accoustic bit,
as I was going for an "unplugged" sound.
That got incredibly boring though, so I tossed
in a few electric riffs, and a bassline.
Much better!

I was thinking "love metal" (HIM) when I started this song, but in the end it didn't really come out as that. It's more like "adult pop-rock" or something like that. I don't even know the name of all these sub-genres anymore.

Anyways, it's a pretty "emo" song, about a guy
who fucks up and loses his girlfriend,
and subsequentally kills himself one winter day.
Deep? Maybe not, but at least it's better than
making another song about drug abuse again.

and that sums it up
