So this is my entry to the Art Inspiration Contest Believe or not as simple as the picture looks I mainly drew my inspiration from the characters facial expression.

*UPDATE* nvrm not using this for the AIM contest after rereading the rules :/

Note: No I have never played any persona games or listen to its ost.

While this is a good song, it seems you skipped the rules for the AIM contest. Art must be from Newgrounds, so please remove the tag!

It seems a lot of parts of the song are hard-panned, like the drums. That takes away from the listening experience for me quite a lot. After all, even if I'm sitting on one side of a set, both ears will hear the sound!

It's not bad, but I've felt like different parts of it just don't make a whole music.

I like the melody, the build-up, beat and atmosphere, but somehow the instruments all seem a bit sharp. There are times (the first session in particular) where the guitar sounded almost like bagpipes, but it sounds better in the next part, and the dreamy phase after that is a pretty pompous touch. Still, might want to dim down the highest pitches a bit though, there too; keep it easier on the ears. That dreamy part... seemed like an optimal place to end it as well, but instead it keeps going a bit longer; moving back to the previous melody/style a bit. Not that I don't enjoy the music, but at that point it seemed like it could just as well have faded out, looped, or moved onto something different - maybe build-up even further? Anyhow, it's a good track, but feels it could use a bit more polishing to me. Keep it going!

Sounds really cool! It gives off an anime kind of vibe which fits the picture perfectly. (especially with that violin) One thing though I'm not sure if you can use pictures outside of Newgrounds for the AIM,
Or are the rules different this year?
