Ambient-esque cover of Pink Floyd's song Keep Talking. Most likely my favourite cover of the one's I've made, as I don't usually do covers.

All percussion made with Reason's Subtractor synth by the way

"Peaceful and straightforward."

This is a pretty decent cover, I would say. It stays true to the source material while changing and innovating it without taking too much of a leap.

But the one thing I have to complain: WHY IS THERE NO STEPHEN HAWKING BRO?

I don't care how little ambient it is, I'll probably put EVERYTHING I ever submit into the ambient genre anyway :P

Isn't that like 20 minutes? I can not remix something that huge.

"That last song is called "High Hopes""

date: August 16, 2008

I just bought the Division Bell, it was the only other Pink Floyd album I hadn't listened to yet. Needless to say I was impressed! And the track you've covered was one of my favorites from the album, Cluster One would be a kick ass cover too. Brilliant work.

It'd be awesome if you do end up covering "High Hopes", as that's my favorite song off of the album. Just don't forget to add the bells!

Author's Response:

I've tried Division Bell once, can't even figure the main melodies. Maybe some time later I'll try it again.

Thanks for the review!
