Still lots of work to be done, but here's it so far. I got lazy with the tracking at the end, but I think it shows it off pretty well!

The song it's tracked to is Scream by In Flames, to test it both in slower parts as well as doing fast blast beat type things. Originally I had it tracked to Shadow of the Colossus's Instrumental from their first album, but that's a pretty slow song song and I wanted to see how it fared in faster tempos/

haha.....just realized thats the drum track to that Inflames song. Drums are sweet. wish i had 250 bucks to get this program. Im thinking about subscribing to slate's monthly membership thing. Its like the netflixs for producers.

FaunSound responds:

If I was going to do a subscription to get VSTs, I would go through Splice's program. Basically you pay a couple bucks a month until you pay it off and own it in full, instead of renting it forever. I'm not sure if EZDRUMMER is on there, though. There's lots of other useful programs though!

Sounds pretty good, I do a bit of metal guitar work if you would like to give a couple of my songs a listen. I don't have a bass guitar at the moment so if you wanted to collaborate we'd need a bassist. No worries if you need someone that can do both

FaunSound responds:

Fantastic! PM me if you'd like to talk more. The way I see it there's two possible ways we could do this: we could write it together, or you can do something on your own and I can put drum tracks to it. As for a bassist, we will see. I have a few pretty solid bass instruments on my hard drive, so I can track that then see how it sounds, and if we need to we can get a bassist.
