This song, I have been working on since 2010, maybe 2011. That's right! Back when I first started making music on an iPod Touch using an app called Music Studio (I tried using Garage Band once, did NOT like it...but, I got to make a cool song called "Music Studio is Better Than Garage Band", I had to finish making it in Music Studio, though, but that's a different story.)

I had never been good at vocal editing or even recording, as various issues would occur. In no way am I saying this one is any better, but it's the best I've been able to make and I've wanted to get this song out for some time now so, here it is: a song about love and the loveless, a relationship that never was but was only to the two involved. As I've said, I started making it on my iPod Touch in Music Studio and there it has remained. I have recently remade the song into FL Studio and that is the version you here right now. This song, of course, is very meaningful to me but I hope some of you can relate and, if you can, I sympathize for you dearly.

Lyrics:
You and I were meant to be
and yet you're not with me.
Your words have burned inside my head;
I will never forget what was said.
If I had a heart to my name,
you'd have broken it all in the same.
But, alas,
it's amiss,
'cause you stole it when we kissed.

I see you here, lying so near,
I've always known we're meant to be.
As I open my eyes, looking past the lies,
I realize you're not with me.

You're not with me.
I realize you're not with me.

You're not with me.
