BEFORE YOU REVIEW:

I don't believe you should change your score based on this, but it should explain a few issues with my track...

This was not made with my laptop, just like Overcome, so this was done without any of my presets or samples. All I had was FL's plugins, samples and presets, besides DSK Overture. As well as this, this was done under time constraints, so I only had about 2 and a half hours...

It takes a long time to make Vocodex dubstep (or as I called it, Vocostep), it's a long, delicate, complex, CPU shredding process! So this one took much longer, I spent most of the time just making the synth for the drop and its automation. Eventually I ran out of time, hence the kinda lazy ending, and the fact that the drop synth isn't sidechained to the percussion.

THANK YOU FOR READING!
As a reward I gift you with:

A E S T H E T I C

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My first time REALLY trying to use vocodex for dubstep, with a pitch-bending aggressive saw wobble, and your typical sytrus robot-like FM modulation wobble. This is supposed to be SeamlessR styled (but obviously not so high quality), which is why it only uses Harmor and Sytrus, and DSK Overture which Seamless doesn't use; but he does use a few orchestral 3rd party plugins, to mostly the same effect, so it should sound fitting.

Question: is your Fruity Limiter on in the Master channel?
If it is, you should turn it off, as it is cutting away your true potential.
If it isn't, you should turn down the compression or distortion down a bit. It's kind of hard to concentrate on what I can hear with unnecessary noise and clutter.

But overall, this song sounds good! Keep up the good work, m8 o.-

Doublechindoge7 responds:

Yes it is, and I didn't turn it off for a reason... Last time I turned Fruity Limiter off I got this: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/693189
So I don't see how turning it off would be beneficial...
