I hope you like it! I love to read your comments.

Also damm, this one was and still is really hard to work on. Just the way that all of the audio is produced.

Nice stuff. But don't make some things so sharp. If something can't cut through you just need to make space for it by reducing necessary freqs on other tracks. read about masking maybe.

yea. In particular. in the drum part. I had a hard time putting out what I wanted to make and have it still sound good. But all will be fixed in the final version.

Liking the instrument in the intro but I feel the release on the low end is too long and ends up bleeding chords that don't like each other into the same sonic space. Maybe needs some low cut. You're doing some interesting stuff with the soundscape, attacks, and releases, which I like, but the lows are bleeding together throughout.

I would say this is closer to DnB than synthwave but what do I know. It's just that once things get started, this is what it sounds like to me.

Very nice playing with the perc. I would have loved for that funky tribal sounding shit to have gone on for another 40 seconds or so. That was good shit.

The slower portion after is nice as well but I don't like that high perc sample. It sounds out of place or a bit too high in the mix.

Your tempo play is nice but ending is abrupt and makes me sad. Would have really loved if this were longer. Sorry if this is a bit incoherent. By the time I would have a coherent thought about a section it would change, making the song very hard to get into, but your artistic vision is strong. Keep at it.

dubsteve9 responds:

lol, yea for the first part I actually removed a lot of the low end, but even after I could not seem to get the full sound in there without the bass causing distortion. I still need to work on the intro a bit more, the modded analog synthesizer I was using is causing me a lot of trouble.

Also thank you, this Is a very thoughtful review.

about the ending, I really liked where this track was going but it was so hard to continue as 80% of my time was spent just on correcting errors when it is normally a lot more fun and not stress, basically making me my own worst enemy, so yea that's the true symbolism behind it.
