This track is a commentary on where I think our society is as of now.

Eliot Alderson (Rami Malek) perfectly espouses what I find wrong with social media, the problems associated with the United States government, the scapegoats we use to attempt to get away from our problems, the misguided sentimental value we place on material wealth, services and goods and the overall apathy that seems to permeate the world around us.

The outro touches upon ideas ranging from police brutality ('You're pushed to the ground...") to how we could peacefully negotiate ways to be without the perils which are burdening us.

Lyrics are below.

Intro:

What is it about society that disappoints you so much?

Oh, I don't know.... Is it that we collectively thought Steve Jobs was a great man even though we knew he made billions off the backs of children? Maybe it's that it feels like all our heroes are counterfeit. The world itself is just one big hoax. Spamming each other with our burning commentary bullshit masquerading as insight. Our social media faking its intimacy...

Or is it that we voted for this; Not with our rigged elections, but with our things, our property, our money.

I'm not saying anything new, we all know why we do this. Not because Hunger Games books makes us happy, but because we want to be sedated, because it's painful not to pretend, because we're cowards...

Fuck society

Hook:

Poly-rhythmatic with a big fat boom

You have an eargasm as you start to consume

Outro:

The world as you knew it came cascading down

No hope left inside you, you're pushed to the ground

We will take the everlasting glory

Have our children tell a story

As we weave our thoughts upon the sky...

holyfuck, a track tribute to Mr. Robot on NG. this shit is dope.

Libby-Shimmz responds:

This is not a tribute to Mr Robot, I simply sampled dialogue from the series. That's not to say I don't like the show. I just thought of using Eliot's therapy speech in a track on my latest album.

Thanks for the love!

fart duet.

Q ~~

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Flatulence is dope, right?

this dope, me like drum, drum go hard, hard like rock. Cactus cat come. Careful Josie, furious fire fighting from Frelindand of Forianstopia. Far out. In the midst of this intriguing dilemma, we believe it to be true even though, perchance it is not quite an anti-falacy, yet. It is important non the less to listen to sick beats on the regular. So for this, I thank the gods, grace the heavens, and bless the earthly beasts. Conquer wretchedness and find the golden apricot; nestled in thy blossom, betwixt it is. but no, don't touch it, just feel the vibe and touch yourself and molest your spirit (to a comfortable level of exposure). Don't stop. Oh Daniel, keep the fire going and find the element to collaspe within the core principles of this practically infinite loop of perpetual wonderment and awe. The spectacle. unflappable, the magic, unfathomable, the power, untapped. Bratttaatttaattat. KEep up.
