TigerM - TigerMvintage - Mushroom Cloud
While working as
Secretary / Office Manager / Receptionist and Accountant weekly
at MGCM, his stepbrother's Music School and Music Conservatory,
Tiger was introduced to the Roland Boss DR-5 Rhythm Section...
and... often more than
eight hours a day producing arrangements...
Using the MIDI instruments on Roland's DR-5, in a single month,
Tiger would produce over 250 unique arrangements.” [some call them "beats!" ^^]
This is the first recording of " Mushroom Cloud " after I composed
it on Roland Boss DR-5 in the year 2000 at 16 years old.
This song although I didn't think about it at the time probably
is one of the reasons that in addition to piano and drums (the
physical instruments-- not the analog sounds) I desired to learn
more about the guitar (subconsciously so as it was not until
in my twenties I decided to purchase an electric/acoustic guitar
complete with audio jack and mini-amplifier! =3)
Not ever having taken formal lessons on the guitar in all honesty--
when compared to [my own abilities] on keyboards and drums; and
training in violin and piano-- I honestly suck on guitar. D=
(but not all that bad really ^^ =^^)
[yeah- ! But I'm no Trent Reznor!]
Everything in "Mushroom Cloud" instrumentally was composed
specifically and totally on the DR-5 [Dr. Rhythm Section]
MIDI drums guitar ~ effects and all! =^^
Included also is the electric bass (clear and clean as is the recording =])
which at one point in the song
did this odd and weird analog thing (a rarity in my experience)
where "maxing on the number of notes recorded on machine universally"
'analogiggly(?)' allows one note to 'stop' or partly mute another
before being notified AFTER the MIDI memorandum plays two note parts! XD
As smooth as this track is...
there is one part where that happens ("Bwhiiizsswueiug! ) and I pick up recording
so the single rip guitar note I tried to play instead
(the LOUD 'guitar laser' "PEWiiiwuh )
gets muted and plays and stops recording and playback to memory!
It happens only once and sounds like a "beehive" stirred up
(and sounds AWESOME! XD)
Thinking *up* "Keyboards" includes my early experimentation
in 2005 with USB and plastic and synthetic low-grade keyboards
and those big name professional ones (like Korg and mid-grade Yamaha)
while I had access to while growing up but while solely single living
unaccompanied on my own (beginning in 2005)-- there was this phase
that is a long story! about when I purchased my first professional DAW
at Circuit City. [now closed at the location where I got it as of writing.]
Instead of ordering a high grade physical professional keyboard
listed twice on eBay and underpriced (Three-THOUSAND dollars less oo)
I intend to purchase and due to an existence directional mistake...
I found "Cakewalk" and began producing with it and was like "forget analog!"
So yah ^^ Happy right now =)
Lots of Good things have happened this week and
reviewing some of my old lyrics lead me to want to
share the instrumentals for this track back from 2000! =)
I hope you really enjoy this and feel free to remix/re-share
re-fo' eva'h =3
Stay superb and remain totally and honestly You!
