TigerM - TigerMvintage - B.O.X. [Distorted version]
While working as
Secretary / Office Manager / Receptionist and Accountant weekly
at MGCM, his stepbrother's Music School and Music Conservatory,
Tiger was introduced to the Roland Boss DR-5 Rhythm Section...
and... often more than
eight hours a day producing arrangements...
Using the MIDI instruments on Roland's DR-5, in a single month,
Tiger would produce over 250 unique arrangements.” [some call them "beats!" ^^]
Original that first was recorded to "The Starting Line"
this is a recap of the song I composed on the DR-5 in 2000
to change dynamics of tune to put out more bass and bang =F
Backfired! XD The change in frequencies though didn't keep me
at teen from continuing to keep all of my compositions preserved. =]
Different "Second Trial" version of tune I composed and interesting memories.
Probably the composition by title I have kept some descriptively
sensitive things regarding an incite and idea to myself while 16.
After composing "what is that one?" relatives and others would ask
I gave the acronym which honestly [I thought] sounded "deep."
"B.O.X." =3 ('"B-" "O-" "X-" with dots in-between...') I shared.
Only once I was asked "what does it mean?" face to face and answered,
'...it's just called "B.O.X."' and the lyrics and my idea I kept to self.
Sixteen years later...
After composing the original B.O.X.
I had this idea that I tried to draw out with pencil
and line-paper inside my notebook syncing my thoughts to my
music I had recorded to cassette. I didn't know anything about
creating animated shorts in Shockwave [Flash] or Premiere in 2000
yet this character idea for a "stupid" anime I couldn't draw to go
with my idea or tune recorded stayed as a screenplay I envisioned.
"B' "O" "X" stands for "Breasts" "Oxygen" "Xylophone" ...
a title I probably would have gotten into trouble with my parents
in 2000 (at 16) because it had "breasts" in it (...in text yes).
Had I shared it or the idea itself (a "stupid anime" girl breathing in)
even though today I still think of the original character...
my life would have a different "B.O.X." memory attached.
[An argument or some of my creations and art still preserved--
being critized or destroyed by someone... especially
my parents who would likely be angered
having strict traditional views.]
"Space" as a theme continued throughout most of my notepads--
but also stories I felt would be criticized so I often used acronyms
constantly (also with my music) so if I got asked about my art creation
I could decide whether to describe it [which depended on who asked].
Creative Process excites and fuels my being.
As for "B.O.X." this is the second recording because I disliked
noticing how the song on car stereo didn't "BOOM" like it could...
the "hard drum" sound didn't 'have good bass' so I recorded the
composition again from the DR-5 to Tape Deck briefly to
"MAX" on All knobs AND the DR-5 controller (volume slide) as well.
...probably one of the
STUPIDEST ideas I ever had (girl with spaceship breathing in deeply
before playing an instrument to activate bay doors to open
her chest rising before beating an Xylophone...)
synced to my repetitive tune (...) but here it is... "B.O.X."
the second recording of three now presented for the
first time online ^_^
Remain Superb and stay Spectacular! =)
"Breasts... Oxygen...... XYLOHONE."
Thank you For Listening =^_^=
*Super-Awesome-Pyrotechnic Explosion cued!* *BOOM* ^^ =3
