Funny story here:

One day during October, I woke up thinking about the opening music to the old Disney Channel cartoon "The Emperor's New School" -- I don't know why, but I did. I really like that song and how it encompasses the disco feel in the modern day while still keeping it classic. Pretty much instantly, while I was still in bed actually, I wanted to try my hand and making a disco song with that as my base. Well, long story short, I was on FL Studio looking through instruments on the Toxic Biohazard plugin to find something that sounded kinda disco and I found this one creepy instrument, the instrument at the beginning of this song (yes, that's one instrument). I heard that, and with the spirit of Halloween looming in the air, and felt the urge to want to work off of that.

So, a song that started out with the idea of sounding disco, turned into this. Progression :D

~ This song was created in the FL Studio DAW with various plugins such as Toxic Biohazard and Morphine and various percussion samples provided by Image-Line imputed into a sampler.
* This particular song, actually, includes a drum track loop (the most prominent percussion beat) provided for artists by Renard Queenston over on Lapfoxtrax.

Not bad, but I wouldn't say this is DnB. It's closer to Dubstep with the pacing and tempo, but even then it's a blend of so many genres that it's hard to say. Your drums sound a bit flat and are lacking high end and punch. The mid feels too high, and the overall presence of the drums could really just use a lift. Your lead could come down just a little, as well as your ... is that a vibraphone arp? Certain sounds are just too loud and have what sounds like a little bit too long on the reverb. Writing is nice though, and so is the spoopy feel. Nice work.
