A little song that I wrote about abortion. The vocals aren't my best, mostly because I recorded them while I was sick with the flu.

Lyrics:

I took a picture
When I left you alone
We were strangers
Living in the same home
We watched them cut the sleeping child
We watched them cut the sleeping child
I still hear you screaming

I look at the picture
That I took before you cried
You made a sad moment sadder
When you died
We watched them cut the sleeping child
We watched them cut the sleeping child
I still hear you screaming

I'm sorry that I have to say this, but this song would seriously benefit from not having lyrics.
The concept is cool but the outcome just makes it sound very out of place.
Aside from that the song sounds very good, the use of what sounds like wood samples really brings the atmosphere together nicely.
Sorry to criticize this so harshly, I don't mean any offence.

Your idea is good, but I don't think recording yourself singing while you were sick was the right way to go about this. I can definitely tell your nose is stopped up causing you to be pitchy and your voice to crack. Also, it would probably help out if you didn't try to sing so high. It sounds like you were straining to get the sound out when it goes towards the higher pitched range, be careful or you'll injure yourself pretty severely.

The song is good. But LYRICS. They sound like you were singing this when someone was murdering you.
