A little 8-bit/chiptune inspired VGM tune.

Made in Pro Tools using Massive and Kontakt, tried to use a minimal amount of elements to fit the retro style, while still giving it a little electro flare.

Hit me up if you're looking for some juicy ass tunage for your projects.

Love this! It's addicting! Reminds me a little of Waterflame's work. Would work great in a game like a shop theme or something maybe hanging at someone's house. Not sure what to say but great mixing, love how the kick sounds especially and the bass. Catchy.

It's really cool and happy!
I love how you mixed chiptune with a Reggae(?) style.
Keep up that nice work!

Btw, which advice would you give to someone who wants to make chiptune music?

I hadn't thought of it as a Reggae style, but now that you say that I can hear a bit of it!
I just listened to a bit of the stuff on your page, and I think you've already got a good start! Probably the best thing to do is listen to a bunch of stuff you like and figure out what makes them good, and how they are composed. Also free tutorials are everywhere online.

I think you did a pretty fine job with this. The opening is a fun and relaxing experience. Brings me back to my old NES days but has its own unique style. Its not over the top like a lot of people try to do with this type of music these days. I honestly thought i was gonna click into some sort of cluster of sounds but I'm happily surprised. Good work on this!

Glad you enjoy it!
Definitely guilty of cramming way too much stuff into some songs... but there's a time and a place for simplicity for sure.
Thanks for listening!

Did you get zero bombed? There's no reason this track should be 1.5 stars.
