Dooope! I haven't heard the original, but from hearing Brad rap in the past (still waitin' on him to release his verses on my Black Cat beat, slacker!) I feel as if his vocals have been pitched up. Maybe I'm slackin' and his voice has changed since he released the OG version of this.

Fuck it, I'mma peep the old one to see how it compares, be right back.....

Oh, it was an acapella and a new verse at that.

Kudos and mad props on bringing his barsz to life Dureagon!

As far as the beat is concerned, I dig the geetar (if that's what that is...) It's very soulful, but also kind of jazzy. Diggin' the drum loop too, I think I have that hi-hat in the center channel, a pretty common hi-hat I'll bet.

You sure know how to bring out the vibez!

Whaaaat!

That was unexpected. I'm surprised how it rides the beat pretty well. I know it's slightly slowed down, but did you have to chop anywhere?

Beat is slick dude, well made and fits the tone of my voice I think, or you're just good at bringin the vocals out in the mix, or both. This makes me think some collabs are needed on a few more tracks.

Thanks dude. There is 1 chop after "deep sleep" with just a very slight adjustment. I'm not even sure it was necessary. Its slowed down a bit obviously to fit the tempo of the beat but while the original is super dope on its own i like this cadence a bit better. yeah i think the vocals really fit well i just did some eq to make it sit better but it was pretty much ready to go, you must have a good mic.

The beat starts off like any other but then transitions into something that catches the attention, it took me off guard, well done. I really wish that you put down the lyrics or a link to them because then I might actually be able to do a more accurate review of the content, keep that in mind in the future. I could tell however that what you were singing meant something to you, and the way you flowed with the beat was sound wave heaven.

All in all, I really liked this, something I'd listen to whenever I work so well done.

DJDureagon responds:

Hey thanks for the review. I like that you actually gave details about what you think of the track rather than just saying you like it or hate it. Real reviews should be more common around here and I appreciate it. GMinor is the one rapping on this track, which is a good thing because i can't rap. I shouldn't be allowed to rap. If one day I decided to rap a loved one nearby should try to stop me. I put a link in the description to GMs verse. He said its some bunk he made in 15 minutes which is crazy because its clearly hot fire. If i rapped it would not be hot fire. It would be the coldest fire ever. It wouldnt even be a fire.. it would be slightly warm dinner roll that was leftover because everyone is too full on turkey and stuffing. I combined his verse with one of my beats and i think it came out well. I'm glad you liked it, I would write the lyrics down but i think thats more GM's department. As a non-rapper, I might mess up one of the words, and then his hot fire would become a warm dinner roll with no butter.
