I started with my study this year, and man does it consume time. I had almost no time left for doing music. This song is made in the course of 3 months (total 22 hours). I'm really happy with the way this piece portrays the way I sometimes feel. I didn't feel like that in years. I'm feeling pretty great!

As always, I love to see what you think of when you hear this song. And if you have any constructive criticism, tell me! :D

This sounds like some stock uplifting atmospheric product ad BGM, or even something in like a documentary.

The chord progression is pretty nice, but the track itself is quite quiet. In my opinion the bass is too soft for a snare that's so powerful.

It's a pretty well thought out piece though. Not my sort of music though, I'm afraid. IDK if you make your own sounds or used samples/presets, but the choices you made are pretty good if I do say so myself. Kudos if you made the sounds yourself.

5/5 even though this is not my kind of music.

I appreciate the review! I sort of agree that the snare is too powerful (but it's already way less powerful than my usual XD). I used 3 soundfronts, a few samples, and the rest I synthesized myself. In the background there are needlessly big layers of (around 5-10) patches I made in Harmor, giving the tone I wanted to give to the main instruments, in order to create the mood I went for.

Well... I think the piano work is just fine. This track is what it is... and is just fine. :)

Keep up the good work!

I'll try! :D

I really like the strings and drums. That said, i think the background could be brought out a bit more, and the lead piano could be compressed down and placed into the mix better. I stands out like a sore thumb a bit. Other than the mix using some work, i enjoyed what you did with the song. Keep up the good work!

BlastBeats responds:

That's so weird because I thought the exact opposite. My background sounded quite overpowering, and the piano blended in nicely. Chances are my playback is crap. Thanks for reviewing!
