this is really well edited and the mic is very nice. trump is mean and i don't like him. what filter do u use to equalize?

VicariousE responds:

No file editing, though there was plenty in my mind while reading and riffing it out. Yeah Trump is a bit of a meany, but Hillary looked like she had a few white hot pokers roasting somewhere. Used a Blue Snowball that has 3 mics in it, used 2 for stereo, and oh my yeah, so should've used a filter, but I'd look ridiculous buying women's stockings to make a proper one. Also used Audacity to record, pretty sure I normalized the total volume, not so sure my noise cancelling (via sampling) worked. Mic itself was a bit overmodulated, my bad, learned on dials and sliders on the fly, back when it was more organic.

So you got started with these podcasts after all! :) It wasn't as long and informative as I expected, this one, but some concise info in there anyway, and a motivation before that grand event. You certainly have a voice for this stuff too. Looking forward to more; revelationary things to follow!

VicariousE responds:

Thanks for the decent review, always appreciated! Yeah there sure could've been a lot more pros and cons listed, but towards the final days of the campaign I got a bit nervous she'd buy her way into the White House, with other people's money and influence.

Informative, motivational podcast. Seems you figured out basics of editing. I can recall my father bringing up similar points as you before he passed (unfortunately before the election day he anticipated). I hope you're doing better. Haven't heard much out of you lately.

Well said my friend. Great podcast and yes there is hope!

VicariousE responds:

Thank you so much! Trump is no angel, but at least his list of constituents is limited to US citizens, and not paid interests from inside and outside the country. Many PAC's are funded through foundations, the money trail washed of conflict of interest problems, whole thing is messy and caters to a 2 party system, which ultimately share too many of the same goals.

VicariousE responds:

I took a nap after I voted, then totally ignored the radio and internet news until the next day. Then I asked some friends on GTA Online about what happened with the vote, "What you didn't know?" If it was bad news, I wanted to hear it from a friend, not the shills in the MSM (mainstream media). Sure was a pleasant surprise.
