I was really inspired by the idea of "morning." The track was heavily influenced by my own experience of waking up in the mornings, when the air around you is partially brisk, yet you're warm. Or when you get up and you hear the birds chirping, that's the signal of a brand new day, and it's only started.

With this track, I demonstrated several new mixing techniques and advises that I've gather from plenty of sources to hopefully "fix" my heavily criticized "muddy" mixing.
And although I can obviously see some of these techniques working and how I plan on implementing them in the future, I'm still a firm believer of, "mixing is not the final say on the quality of a work and that one should not be ashamed or discouraged from creating musical works, simply because of 'bad mixing' and that a track doesn't lose all creative merit because of it." However, I do agree that if any musician worth their salt has some form of integrity and realizes that mixing is an essential virtue to the creation of musical pieces, and that if they truly cared for their music should do their utmost to hone their craftsmanship.

That's all! Sorry for being so inactive as of late, been going though some of my own personal philosophical development, which has left me quite busy with my own life and whatnot, but needless to say I'm still here! :D

this is great but i wouldn't put this in the class of hiphop. its more like chill step. or electro groove

Sorry, I utilized some RnB elements, so hip-hop was my initial thinking for the available genres on Newground. Closest I could get to Chillstep was Ambient :)

Thank you! I was really aiming to portray a certain kind of feeling, and all of those sounds combined achieved that, I think! :D
