well it sucks balls!
its an enormous pile of crap prepared by apes and eaten by a donkey.

im just messin with you man, chill :).
the piece sounds actually not bad.
tho, there's always something.
i get the feeling you either overcompressed this, or simply didn't compress at all.
sounds get pushed back to the background while others take a leading hand.
it frustrates me haha.
i also hate the kick you used, its soooo uplifting and not even funny anymore.
but, everyone their own taste i guess :)

you did a good by applying groove to your bass, some MAY refer to "roll" bass. i don't.
the tech -before trance- aspect of this tune is spot on. it has the right structure, mixing, and everything before and after that.
the only thing i do miss, is depth. techtrance usually has this darker feel. this tune sounds like it only has the edge to a darker feeling because of its greater uplifting aspects.

and, im done writing, not much you can use to better your productions but.. im faving this :)
chao!

Keitomine responds:

There might be a lot of compression. I know my mid range is compressed to shit, because it's barely audible. right now, all it does is add atmosphere, because it's hardly there. As much as I want to work on this, I don't want my computer to explode, because more often than not, my tracks will reach a certain level that my computer can't handle rendering, so I have to cut corners, or cut it short, instead of spending more time on it.

I actually really like the kick. I feel like I EQ'd it pretty well. I tried to get a bit of distortion on it, like the big uplifting guys do.

I absolutely love it!

The synths sound very good together, and I like the break in the middle, and then the buildup to the fast-paced part afterwards. I love the melody too!

Some suggestions: The beginning, IMO, is a little bit annoying. also, it might be just me, but I think the ending is kinda off, idk how to explain it.

Overall, amazing track, I hope to see more from you in the future!

R4R?

I'd remove the low end on the bassline and add a subbass.
Delay and reverb would also suit the bassline.

There is alot of work to do, but I guess you're aware of that :P

Keitomine responds:

There is a sub bass. It's just being sidechained off the kick so it doesn't fight. And I tried delay on the low end, I didn't like the sound.

I'm not very into Trance, but hey, this is awesome :DDD

Keitomine responds:

Glad to be the one who showed you what trance is all about.

Emergency R4R, coz that thread is beyond salvation.

I wont comment on the sound themselves, i think they are very well crafted.
Listened to it both on speakers and headphones.
Very nice buildups, but track somewhat lacking some sort of statement. Not that it needs something as trivial as edm drops (put your hands up monkeys!) but it felt like a neverending collection of very well crafted buildups but nothing that really took off, as if no instrument ever has the lead and stays upfront long enough.
Let them talk, scream and take the stage as they please! ahah^^

I think the filtered reccuring razor sound in background is somewhat causing that feeling as well.
It clashes with the rest during crowded parts of the song to the point of distraction.
Maybe check the frequency range and adjust volumes at times.

Im not that familiar with trance and its just my opinion anyway so maybe this kind of structure is perfectly normal.
I like your music nonetheless and will check your tracks from now on.

Keitomine responds:

Thanks man. I might go back in and do some EQing and proper mastering like stereo imaging and what not. Maybe work on compressing the sounds more. I was thinking of adding a snare roll, and maybe some more effects than just reverse crashes and what not.

There's a synth line from the track this is inspired from that I want to put in here.
