So here's my second entry for the AIM contest. I hope that this would turn out better than the previous entry.

Inspired from this incredible artwork by boizinho:

Used a lot of soundfonts for this one. I only used one VST for this song, which is Sytrus.

Made in FL Studio 12 [Demo].

Nice, but i feel the snare could've used a tiny bit more on the low mids for a little more punch. Nice job with the mixing though, especially with the subs. This is some nice light drum 'n' bass. This is a pretty track. My only other real complaint is the attack on the strings needs to be faster so they response faster, they drag a little, and don't sound natural.

I like everything you've used here though. Makes me think "Waterflame meets ParagonX9" in a sense. Not quite on that scale, but not far off. It woul've been nice to hear more strings in the background held out to build this track up more, I feel this has the potential to be something a little more, but it's a good track overall. I like the melody. Nice work, reflects the picture well.

TheEvilDevil responds:

I don't know what you mean by "a tiny bit more on the low mids", because I don't know music talk that much XD. But yeah I guess you wanted a punchier(louder?) snare. The strings... Well since I only used soundfonts for that, I don't know how to fix the attack time.

I really thought those 2 layers of slow strings would be enough, but I guess I should've turned up the volume for the other one?! Well it doesn't matter anyways, since I can't open and change the song anymore. Thanks for the review, glad you liked it. ^^

I can see this being used an action stage or for a boss battle where you learn to fight yourself or someone or something equally as tough to truly to take on, beautiful piece.

TheEvilDevil responds:

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too! I'm glad you liked this track. ^^
