At first, I watched your video as I plan to learn this piece next. Now my only issue is that I find your version much better that the original, and it impossible to get the corresponding piano score...anyway, I 'll try to write one by ear from the original score.

This is a piano cover of the main theme from the movie "The Piano".
Although the merit of this track is partly the performance, I decided to upload it as I also rearranged the piece quite a lot, in order to make the performance less repetitive and more unique.
I wasn't really happy with any of the sounds that I was able to get out of a single piano I own. So I ended up plugging the MIDI file to three instances of "The Grandeur", and Three Instances" of "The Maverick". I then balanced the panning along with the audio levels, and EQd the tracks to fit well together. The problem was that I wanted both a clear deep bass, along with a bright tone, with some middles too; a full and versatile sound. That wasn't really possible without mixing these in this weird way. What do you think of the end result? Does it sound okay?

I think I fixed like three or four notes that happened to not sound great. The magic I did for this, was to use the same file, for 6 pianos playing at once at different volumes, and panned in different directions (And EQd to fit together), filling up the entire "room" of sounds, as they didn't sound full on their own.

Never seen this movie myself, but I've heard the theme and think your arrangement is a very nice take on it. Of course, it's always nice to hear you play the piano! :)
