Another idea for Construct.

This one's in the key of F minor with a lot of key changes including various scales. More of a test of my composing abilities than anything. It's got a lot of groove in it, and a huge Tesseract vibe. It's also the first song I've used the Engl E570 exclusively to record.

It's near enough finished structure-wise, so enjoy!

Damn, this is quite possibly the best metal song I've ever heard in my life. (Y'know, besides Metallica and stuff.)
You have my five stars, sir.

I like the slow, melodic beginning that, when it seemed to lead to nothingness, started up with an explosion of metal which demanded my attention. The intro was good and the solos were better, because they kept their rhythm while adding on to the consistent shredding. Another great hit! I really like it because it's similar, yet different, to my favorite track "Blue Skies Ahead".

Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it! It was pretty tough work incorporating all of the key and tempo changes in a convincing way. For me, that's what makes music more interesting. The way it's envisioned paints a picture in the mind (well, my mind anyway).

It'll be a challenge to carry on this tradition and continue to make music in this way, but I'll sure as hell keep on trying! :)

Thanks for the review!

I was wondering when you were going to show your face again!
You have a lot going on in this piece and it's fantastic!
A nice mellow intro, into something a little more fierce...then a switch to a bit more grungy...

The atmosphere change at 3:50 <3 YAY!
Man, I'm just loving this piece to pieces and each and every single note :P
MORE! WE WANT MORE!!!!!
