Some friends wanted me to make a beat to rap over. I think it stands alone nicely though..

Good Intro

The introduction to this was very good in this track, very calm and such, also the main tune itself was also very good, fit together very well and everything. Very easy to listen to, nothing harsh stands out and also a very good use of time in my opinion. One thing though, it seems to be very simler through the whole track, not much veriation. But it still sounds good.

This does stand alone nicely though, I can't really imagin this with rap too it, doesn't really sound like any form of vocals would be much good on this. The ending is a little off too, kind of eh, just very sudden.

What I see when I picture this is a bleak, epic retro game. Wouldbe perfect if anyone was making it. Beautiful sounding, lots going on around the main synth thing. Great song

Fresh song!

This track has a nice eletronica feel but with some very nice hip hop elements in here. The brass you started off with is ace- subkicks work great, and the other kicks mix in perfectly with the bassline to sculpt out a nice bass sound. Lots of drum variation (i love the hi hats once again), you keep the drums moving nice and flowing in the first verse. The synth is nice and sharp- and the main melodies you use have a nice rhythm and are simple and laidback, and a good element in making a track easier to rap around.

I like the chorus verse real much, great beat, great melodical construction and I like the extended brass notes. I believe some of those sounds and synths you put in the right speaker could be raised a level or too, but maybe some silence and room is needed to left open for a rap.

The second verse is real nice following up the main chorus, great job packing it with more synths and keeping a more intensive flow. snares and claps do a great job rolling, and you did a great job with the phasers put on the hi hats at the end. The track doesn't loop too well- I would rather just hear a leadup and a finish with a few seconds- but it doesnt matter that much.

Great mixing job, original hip hop sound, sweet synth development and instrument selection, overall a pretty tight track.

This is cool, but

I don't really see someone rapping over this, it's great how it is, although it is a tad repetitive, it's missing the hip hop vibe. The synths are great, but a lot more electronica. Great song, I say leave it as it is. Good job.
