Made in FL Studio. 170 BPM. My first attempt at drumstep. It came out pretty good after a couple revisions. It uses a wobble bass and guiros.

Dubnium: A legit element in the periodic table (Db, atomic number 105) named after the Russian town of Dubna - the city of dubstep clearly (Not really). Sadly, it is NOT used in the creation of dubstep, it actually has no use outside of scientific research. Science lesson complete.

Decent song, nice pacing and a great pace, but there are a few problems with it,The "wubs" that come in at about 1 and a half minutes disconnect from the song, and sound like they shouldn't be there, kinda alien to the rest of the song.Though even with that it's a decent song, good job!

Yeelp responds:

Thanks for the review! The bass was one of the challenging obstacles of this song. I tried different LFO patterns before settling and using these ones. Hopefully, with more practice with composing the genre, I can implement the "dubstep" of drumstep better. :P

Cheers,
