"Sequel First" features a buildup of instrumentation and metaphorical lyrics. It's a song about endless possibilities and freedom of spirit. It is the second track on Echoes Through Us All.

I used Ableton Live Suite to make all of the music. Vocals were recorded with an SE Electronics large diaphragm condenser, and all of the guitar playing is mine, as well.

Very unique in the sense of how everything comes together. The clapping along with synths and what sounds like a mandolin is really something else. Your voice does sound off beat, but its definitely not bad, as it blends with the instruments. This is really good, and may have set the bar too high for music here on Newgrounds, because this is the first song I heard on the website.

Thanks for the comment. I've received similar feedback on the vocals, and I will keep that in mind for the future. Your compliments are appreciated!

I love how punchy this is. And coupled with the sharp guitar, strings and the background percussion it's totally cool. I would say the vocals could do with a slight tweak, how - I don't know but it it's not out of tune, I think it could benifit from like a doubling flanger or something.

Other than that, this totally gets me bro, awesome work.

Thanks for the review man! I've gotten a similar response from someone else that the vocals weren't quite where they should be. I've never used flanger on vocals, so I will experiment with that.
