Blues is easy. Made for a college music course project. 99% live recorded. ('cept drums)

I like this music, reminds me of 1950s New York...

I especially like the voice, the distortion and remixed to add a little humor to the music...

"Nice work"

date: December 11, 2006

I especially liked the soloing distorted keys, very tasty licks right there! I'm not sure how I feel about the clav, it feels a bit out of place... The piece starts off simple and groovin', and then when the guitar comes in, man it really lets loose. Pretty good work man, I like the way you built this track.

Author's Response:

The clav was added because, well, I lack skill. I wanted to have the solo in the wurlitzer at the start, but I didn't have the time to work out harmonies and improvisation for it, so I stuck in a clav and called it even.

Oh and it's not a guitar, its just a generic graintable synth, though it's pretty awesome that you get a guitar feel from it.

"A good blues"

A simple blues progression with good work on the rythmic organ part!
Good work, but why did you put it in jazz and not in blues? :)
This is not jazz ;)

Author's Response:

THERE'S A BLUES SECTION?

Shit. I was actually totally unaware.
