Being depressive about death when we know it's already coming, is really silly. Life goes on, no matter what you feel. When you die, your chemicals and molecules break down to give life to other organisms. The cycle continues until the end of time.

We should not dwell on any of it.

I was draining myself with self hatred and despair, having a loved one hospitalized in emergency, and struggling in life. Until yesterday when my best friend cheered me up with life. He doesn't look at death as the end of life. He sees hope and happiness. And he is willing to share them with other lost souls like me, to keep us going.

Thank you, LSD. I dedicate this track to you. As a gift, to a friend.

Very spatial, mixed well, the samples are spot on, and the metro is crazy which I love.

I love the pensive mood at the beginning. It’s very atmospheric, flowing, and even drone-like in a way. The bell-like sounds at :43 didn’t do a whole lot for me tbh. The rhythm was a bit hard-to-follow and excessively additive, but maybe that’s just because of my tastes. It progresses pretty slowly for the first couple of minutes. The non-transition you had into 1:50 was strangely effective, and I love those sneaky, furtive synths at 1:57. You love bell sounds, don’t you? The more up-front ones at 2:56 were very effective. The panning and ping-pong effects here also add a lot to the texture. I just love how this piece is simultaneously drone-like and pizzicato-y. By around the 4-minute mark, I warmed up to your extremely intricate rhythmic style, btw. Good job offering some structural contrast at 4:28. I wish it came a little sooner, but perhaps this timing is on par with both the pace and length of the piece. The part at 5:35 was rather climactic, and then you brought it full-circle by 5:52, which is good. The loop isn’t as clean as it could’ve been, but I’m just impressed in general that you made a 6-minute loop. Overall, this is a pretty engrossing piece. I LOVE the trance-like vibes. I noticed no mixing or mastering flaws. The instruments are used really well here too, and amidst all of the VGM/EDM stuff I’ve been listening to for this contest, this really stands out as unique. Great work!

This is beautiful. What vsts did you use for the percussions?

Agitat0r responds:

You mean the chromatic or drums? For chromatic percs they were 8Dio AGE and Cinebells. For drums they were Heavyocity Master Sessions.
