Rofl, to tell you the truth, the old one didn't leave.
I ditched her to hook up with the new one.

But no, I don't have a girlfriend anymore - I have a wife,
so I guess she doesn't feel the same way that you do about
stuff like this.

Anyways, I actually agree with you.
This song is shit, and I hate it, so I have
no intention of defending it.
I'd love to hear some of your music though,

"5 for you"

hey bro. sorry i havnt had a chance to review this. ive been in bed sick with the flu. im writing this review on my laptop in bed :(

anyway, it was good. i was looking forward to hearing this, seeing as how you had not released anything new for a while up till this point. any way, the main thing i captured listening to this was the emotion behind your voice. it was a touching song. on top of that, i also have begun to truly appreciate your singing voice over the past month or so. just thought id let you know. the song had a nice key, a a nice even tone, and a good, flowing pace. however, i did find a few flaws. first off, obviously im not feeling my best, so my musical judgment, usually pretty decent, maybe a little skewed. if what i say makes no sense of is incorrect, ignore me.

ok. the acoustic guitar was good. had a nice tone and volume.i also liked the subtle bass. ( it was a bass underneath the guitar, wasnt it? ) however, if there was supposed to be any E-guitar in the song, i didnt hear it until the end solo. which brings me to the biggest flaw i found here. now once again, it may be that my perception is warped due to sickness, but the extreme E-guitar solo at the end was far,far to sharp for the song. it started out ok, but the ridiculous distortion on it cut through me like a hot knife, and in a bad way, and didnt fit, atleast to me, with the general feeling of the song. also, the vocal effects near the end had the same effect on me as the guitar. they where not needed. it was an interesting try, mixing aspects of music types into this song, but it impacted it in a bad way. overall though, a good song. the main point im trying to get across here is keep the hard rock/metal with the rock/metal, and keep the alt-rock ballads with the alt-rock ballads. i was tempted to give you like a 4.4, but i fived because i could feel the effort. keep it up man.
