Ah, the bass in this one is the exact same as the battle music in FF1, and it keeps playing that in my head instead of what I'm actually hearing. :( So yeah, not real big on the filter LFO lead. Drums actually come in great in this one. There's this nice little stereo wideness about them that keeps them from conflicting with the lead that's moving all over the spectrum, while at the same time still sounding loud and punchy. My ears would also like to thank you for keeping the clipping to a minimum in your last few tracks so far.

I at first thought that this was my favourite FF, I was so excited...
then suddenly FFIV. :(
But I like this remix, the techno seems to blend in relatively well although there are some times where the key is way off.

Chronamut responds:

lol this is sooo old :P

lol glad you like it though - and yeah when I was a kid ffIV was labelled as ffII :)

thanks for the review!

Funky remake

Certainly could be used if they did a remake of the game anyways since it sounds like it would be something made to take advantage of the sound system in a GBA or NDS. Sounds really great for a remake though.

The synth is highly funky and has a pretty sweet playing going. The bass line is soft and smooth here, can kind of hear a few slight hammer on notes too. The drums sound cool and I like the little fills near the start as well.

Overall, just happened to be a great time when I use to play that on my old SNES. Great remake.

Chronamut responds:

hahaha glad you liked it dude!

thanks for the review!
