I came up with the lead first by jamming on my keyboard, and I built the rest of the song around that.

This is a fairly simple and repetitive track, once again. I used a particular VST that made this track very difficult to work on. I've had this for a while, and there's a lot I want to change on this, but I have difficulty opening the project.. (The vst/synth used for the lead and bass almost always crashes while loading.)

Have I ever told you how much nostalgia this song gives me? Because it gives me a lot.

Looking back, almost two years later, I still love this. Nice work!

Pretty good. Like the lead arpeggio a lot because of the pitch bend. I actually think the pitch bends are pretty unique. Also wasn't expecting a fade-out at the end

The reason why I gave it 3 1/2 stars is because it's highly repetitive. Much of the song seems like you're just repeating the same 4 measures over and over. My advice is to keep your songs interesting by putting in new parts and new sounds, breaks, melodies, etc. before it gets too boring. You can still be repetitve of course, but try to keep the repetition a bit lower.

I came over here, returned a favor, and checked out this song of yours since you gave me a review on one of my songs.

This is great!
You used some simple chord progressions for a lot of the song, but thats not bad!

what DAW do you use to make music?

Thanks,
I use FL Studio. I have very little knowledge of musical theory.. I typically use a simple bassline/progression for entire an track, sometimes altering the melody. (on this track the bassline stays the same. I used 1 melody and literally spliced/re arranged the pattern to add variation.)

I feel this track is alright, but for some reason it turned out to be my most popular original track. (On soundcloud at least.)

I appreciate the reviews. When I get a chance I'll return the favour. (AKA, go through your profile and check out your tracks.)
