Another poem/song. Lyrics below:

It was late summer, during a buzzing afternoon; Twilight fast approaching, and we yielded caution towards the stars;

but constalations never seemed quite as perfect as that point of connection where we fell- we heard racing cars...

and sometimes I think of those engines rumbling and the feeling of wholeness you only feel once, childhood incantation, a spell we imagined, a cantrip we cast when we were still young

Haunted by memories too good for the movies, too real for the books, too devine to be dead
Images flashing 30 frames brightly on the projector tattered inside my own head

Loosely following characters as they cauterize wounds that were left in your stead
The burn feels so healthy, the nerves grow so cold, my brain grows a new tumor, out sprouts what you said

"It wasn't you. It wasn't a single thing that you did. I just need some space and time to myself to fully

comprehend-

My feelings. The movement deep within. The insects in my stomach creeping quietly, yet at night, so wild

It hurts. To let you go. I can feel the love you emitted and the brightness took its toll.

But now, it's time to let things go" If people are forever changing, then why are we even debating?

What's love?
