A little song that I wrote. I have autism and when i'm working i'll often experience sensory overload. It's a terrifying experience that I deal with almost daily at my job, for minimum wage. It sucks.

Anyways, I originally recorded the song with the idea of creating a song about sensory overload. It eventually became something else.

Lyrics:

Is there anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Anybody out there, anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Every planet I see is dead

Every planet I see is dead
Children suffocated in their beds
No more hope for the human race
There's no life in outer space
The idea that I'm alone
I'll never return to my home
My mother and my daughter are dead
That's what my computer said

Is there anybody out there
Is there anybody out there
Anybody out there, anybody out there
Every planet I see is dead

Every
Planet
I see
Is dead
Every (is there anybody out there)
Planet (is there anybody out there)
I see (is there anybody out there)
Is dead (is there anybody out there)

I don't want to dream anymore
I don't want to scream anymore
I see the ghosts of the people from my past
Whatever happiness I had didn't last

Every
Planet
I see
Is dead

Every planet I see is dead x4

Is there anybody out there

You did a nice job with matching the vocals up with the instruments playing in the background

but I give it 4.5 stars instead of 3 stars just because I was laughing so hard while listening lel

ti-on-suxandrox responds:

Thank you. I've been experimenting a bit with my voice lately. I like to think of my newer stuff with my vocal experiments as being akin to theatre. the performance makes you laugh, despite the subject matter being dark and serious.

It's like when Captain Beefheart wrote a song about the holocaust and the people that died during it. The song's funny because of his voice, but it's very dark.

Anyways, glad you enjoyed it. Check out my song 'Vore' for my funniest vocal performance.
