Designed to be a SNES-era RPG battle theme. Originally composed in G-Mixolydian, then I changed it to Am when I uploaded the last version, then decided I didn't like that version at all and changed it back to G-Mixolydian as well as rewriting several parts (the bridge is totally different now, for instance).

Mostly samples were actually taken from MIDI Out patches and Fruity LSD, taken into OpenMPT to downsample and create loops, and then run through a BRR conversion utility (BRR being the native compression format used by the SNES). I then dropped the BRRs into C700, a VST for emulating the SPC700. One sample is from a Chrono Trigger SPC however (Battle 2 IIRC). So this is actually fairly accurate to a real SNES in terms of sound (I also adhered to the strict 8-instrument rule).

EDIT: If you're still hearing the old shitty version, try clearing your cache.

I get Super Mario vibes kind of xD One thing I would suggest is making sure the song doesn't sound too dry. The crispier the better, so try to get as many low frequencies out of the high frequency leads, and bring out the bass in the background. This should help a lot. Nice job!
