no shite vox here, just pure 808 and analog synths, mmmmm.....

hmmm, another 1 that went down pretty well in a live situation. quite AFX in places. the second half is well bouncy, we'll give it that:/

Haha awsome

This sounds so much like the Analord cds. so alike its almost scary. Im loving all the analog sythns. It really gives it a unique sound. Same with the drums. The bleep sound was cool. Nice track.

Thanks for your vote, SineRider! You voted 5 for anacid boink, raising its score from 4.00 to 4.14.

haha indeed,
well spotted, this is a pretty shameless aphex style track, i got selected lords the other week and it inspired me to make this. i was pleasantly surprised at that CD, i heard one of the vinyls and i wasn't mad about it but there are some absolute corkers on the best of.

cracking tune Ped'. Love the glitching elements that feature early on in the mix. the 808 is awesome alonf with the synths. really takes the listener on a journey as the track moves into a darker moment then lightens up again, its really reminisent of the late nights dance tunes you find on R1 at like 3 in the morn, don't take offence at that as thats when proper tunes appear rather than pop shite.

I thouroughly enjoyed the track and i always love the use of old skool analog instruments, when used well they sound brilliant as they do in this track. obviously some knob will come along whinging that u used 808's and 303's 'should have used real drums' bollocks and shite. but fuck em its a solid track, another to add to the collection.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

yeh, 808 may be cheap but i fookin love the sound, plus, along with the analog synths it's much easier to mix than all this electro-acoustic stuff i've been spewing out of late.

so good

Lovin' the synths; not a fan of the 808. but I suppose that's more a matter of taste. so yeah... not my favorite, but still a damn fine piece of music. I don't know if I'd qualify this as "dance" though... I might take it a step farther and maybe call it "intelligent dance music." yeah, that sounds catchy... perhaps they should make that into a genre or something... you know what? I've changed my mind; as this song evolves, so does the percussion, and it gets to the point where I'm thinking to myself, "damn, this kicks ass." Very well done. Another gem. 5's, 10's and a dl.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

yo bro,
IDM? nothing intelligent about this track imo, but yeh, what else ya gonna call it? i agree without blowing my own horn, the 2nd half is pretty stonking when it gets going, i thank plaid for that really, similiar groove.
anyways, thanks for checking this out, gonna do a longer version i think, sounds like it wants to go elsewhere when it finishes

I give this a 4 because I'm not a complete moron.

Not saying that last guy was. He was just stating his opinion, I guess. That song was very interesting. All of the beepy noises had my head spinning after a while. I downloaded it. This is one of the weirdest techno songs I've ever heard. Okay, not really. But it's cool. And I like it. Keep up the great work.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

haha, nice 1.
for the record he has no oppinion, he's been posting the same review for every track thats been posted today. and thats why we love him
