I hear a lot of great melodies and inspiration in this piece. The motivation for the creation of it is certainly worth the expression.

In fact, I would go as far to say this is the most interesting piece of music that I have run across in all my years on newgrounds.com

I will say the only reason why I give it a 4.5 is because I am so heartbroken that I couldn't help you express it, and if you ever feel the need for my help in doing so, you can just send me a PM. ^_^

I thank you very much. It's not the best piece of music out there, but it's music from a different heart, so to speak. Like it or not, I'm a changed man from that whole experience. Changed from the rest of you. That leaves me in a weird spot. In life, I mean. If I can work that out in melodies, and songs, and not have to take prescription meds for PTSD, that's all I'm ever trying to do with music. Music was never a thing to do to be cool. It really is a form of self help. It isn't that cool to play an acoustic guitar where I live, I'll put it that way. So picking up a guitar and playing it well isn't a big deal, anyway. In the eyes of the beholder, I can do a little more than all that though. Songwriting is different from just playing guitar. I've had fans sing the lyrics to one of my songs in the crowd one night and it was the second time I played it there. They remembered the words. It was a good feeling. So, that's the whole musician side of me. It helps. If it helps others, or gets people thinking, I'm happy to share these tunes. Thanks again bro. Take care.

Hey, shadow-kickass. Thank you for saying so. My philosophy is that to make music meaningful, musicians need to keep making meaningful music.
