I don't usually do random requests.

But I just quit my job today and had nothing better to do than to make somebody's day by recreating the Final Boss theme from the game "Dragon Spirit" in a metal cover/loop.

Warning: This is definitely a ME piece. Meaning I wrote it out in 2 hours and didn't completely mix/master the thing. I also took some creative liberties with the piece as the original is basically a loop of 2 bars then 3 bars so I had to make that work somehow.

But hey, you never know. People like random stuff, and this is definitely random!

You do some serious justice to the original I will say this much, and you're right! The high pitched single notes are always hard to hit just right, but the pauses aren't that bad to flow with ;-)

When you get the time or feel like refining this lovely piece of a Golden Oldie, I wanna be the first one to hear it! HA!

Which monster did you use for the leads? Doesn't sound like your original beast...or is that because my ears are still deaf from listening to my boss all damn day gripe about stupid #@%$ing things 0_o

Regardless, everything flows soo nicely, and just takes me back to when I'd play this game every day after school back in the 90s ^_^ Thanks again for accepting and putting out a brilliant loop!

Man, I'm glad you liked it that much! It feels great to be able to deliver something you thought up AND you think is cool.

I'm glad I could be of service!!! Thank YOU for the suggestion! I needed a project or something like this at the time when you asked. So it was fun for me too, hahah. When I was writing it I wasn't sure how crazy I would get with it. Because it is a fairly simple loop... But I didn't know exactly how far I was willing to take it. Because I've been known to take FOREVER to decide on ideas when I have them for something like this.

In the end I just thought "Huh, what would he probably like me to do with this section..." And then, laziness permitting, I would put it out like a something something prom night.

Just for fun, I looked up the final boss theme from the original (NES?) game, and considering what you had to work with, I'd say this turned out pretty good! Great work ^^

Also how does one submit a request? Though it would be more of a suggestion cause I want you to work on whatever you like :P

Thanks man! The original was definitely good, I had some trouble wanting to make those high pitched single note pause lead-ins that the original had. I ended up just not even doing them heheh...
