Not entirely sure if this is finalized, if I change something, I will be sure to update it on here. Used Fl Studio 12 to make this, and since my computer was being buggy, I used Audacity to edit some stuff, still not sure why I needed to, but whatever.

Honestly, the hammering piano at the beginning is the weakest part. It really doesn't scream "Epic Comeback" to me, unless this happens to be your epic comeback in which case I can't really say anything to dismiss it since it's meant to be you or something.

Oh by the way, your computer may have been "buggy" because your hardware was insufficient for exporting your audio. It's most likely your processor. You may want to check if you have hyperthreading on.

If you're using Windows, use System Config; Boot; Advanced Options & increase the number of virtual cores you're using. Your computer will need to reboot to make the change.

If you're already hyperthreading at max, you may want to uninstall FL Studio, get CCleaner to clear the registry of FL Studio files & reinstall it.

If neither of those things work, you may need to scan for viruses. Get Malwarebytes & Avast if you don't already have them. Run a custom scan in Malwarebytes & checkmark every option. If you discover an infection you have two choices:

#1: Scrub the hard drive clean by reinstalling Windows.

#2: Go here: http://www.techspot.com/community/forums/virus-and-malware-removal.28/ & follow their instructions on how to disinfect.

If you have no infections & you have few virtual cores, it might be time to upgrade your processor.

Hey, thanks for the input! What was happening was all of the applications that I was trying to use to listen to the exported file (aside from Fl Studio) thought that the song length was only like 1:30 or something, so I just opened it in audacity and re-exported it, and it worked. That's all. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to do most of the things you mentioned above. Thanks though! I'm going to work on a new song soon, and I know that the piano is piercing. I'm new to this.

I know this is a month old by now, but I'd just like to tell you that I hear a lot of potential here. I'll just write down some of my thoughts.

The same melody is used pretty much throughout the track, but there are subtle changes that happen quite often to change it up. However, even when you change it a bit, the melody is still playing in the 'background'. I say 'background' because the melody is quite loud and actually takes over the mix, so it makes the changes harder to notice.

There are ways to fix this, the main way would be volume control. You need to think about which synths you want to stick out more than others, and adjust their volumes accordingly. There are other ways too but I'm sure you'll discover them with time.

That's just the criticism part though, the melodies are very nice and you change it up a lot which is really good for keeping a listener's attention. You have good composition and I think if you continue making music, you'll eventually be making some awesome stuff.

Keep it up! I'll be interested to hear what you come up with next.

Keep trying!
Everything is trying to be at the forefront. You could improve this with some subtlety, which could be as simple as making things quieter. For example, the piano at the beginning is pretty piercing and in-your-face. With time though, you'll nail things down. :)

The synths you use and the mixing is pretty poor, but I sense a lot of promise in your composing skills. Just keep it up, learn a thing or two about mixing, and you'll become really good one day. Belive me :)
