Short, Danny Elfman-esque I suppose. Charming, simple. Enjoy. :)

You're right in you're personal message part about it, As i completely agree it is very charming.

Sort of remind's me of kind of...An elf's forest or something along them line's.

Even though it's quite samey all the way through it's still very good. Also i'm actually suprised that it's got 34 Download's i was expecting something around 20. So i guess other's found it better than i did.

Still, I liked it. It's good. Good work i hope to see more of these type of music from you in the not so far away future.

Downloads tend not to be an accurate measure of anything, but oh well.

"Again!"

date: November 3, 2006

This is so EXCELLENT! I totally understand that you weer going for a background feel, here. This is perfect movie music (I mean that as a compliment - movie music composers are sought after!)

You keep hitting the nail on the head - I've only listened to two of your songs, and you've quickly become one of my favorites. Would you do me a favor and listen to some of my songs? I haven't attempted much classical; I have a couple of preludes that are only about a few minutes long each, and a halloween piano score I have mixed feelings about. I would consider it a favor, but I would appreciate a few pointers.

I'm seriously going to sit here and listen to every song you've made. I may not review them all, but you've certainly sparked my interest.

Please do keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

Listening to all of my stuff is quite time consuming... but hey, I'm not complaining, I appreciate that a lot. :D

I (finally) sent you a review, expect more soon when I get around to it (ah, Christmas break...).

And finally, thanks so so much for all the review you've left!

"Are you sure?"

date: October 29, 2006

Are sure you're not Danny Elfman? lol

Flows really well. I can imagine this guy in a forest, lost.

Author's Response:

Last time I checked. ;)

Thanks for that compliment though, it means a lot to me. Keep up the awesome!

"Pretty darn good."

date: October 17, 2006

I liked it quite a bit; it certainly fit the title very well. I suppose it loops well, too.

The only problem I can find is that on the whole, the piece itself wasn't totally interesting. But this is probably a good thing too, especially if it's meant to be a loop, as it wouldn't distract from anything.

Overall nice mood, nice feel, and great for representing a forest setting.

Author's Response:

I agree, it's rather uninteresting on the whole, but as you say, it loops better that way. :D

I mean, imagine having to listen to the same climax 7 times in a row: you'd get sick of the piece a lot faster on account of it actually being interesting, whereas you can forget this in the background.

It would appear that you and I are rather in the minority about the forest thing, but oh well. :D

Thanks for the review!

"This is Great!"

Hey, this is the first review I've given you but I've been enjoying your music for a long time.
I don't really picture a forest but more of a mansion for some reason.
It is really Danny Elfman-esque though, very.
I've listened to it like three times during the time of this review and it's just the kind of music I'd like to learn how to compose, I'm mostly good at really slow pieces, not so much the faster ones.
If you could let me talk to you on AIM and you could give me some tips that would be great, I'm looking for someone to teach me.
Check out my music sometime, Sorry I'm not that good at reviewing. I'm sure someone will come blow my review away with all this technical music munmbo jumbo.

Author's Response:

Your AIM isn't in your profile but always feel free to add me at: Ironic Irascible

In music, never be afraid to say what you feel. Technical mumbo jumbo is just a fancier and perhaps more detailed way of saying the same things. Judging by your music, you definitely have the kind of ear that qualifies you to have a very valid opinion.

I'd love to help you out, from anything from specific tips to music theory, just IM me whenever you feel like it. ;)

Thanks for the heart-warming review!
