-As you sit in your room, you feel the ground shake. A large object has violated the space outside your home. You exit your front door to see a metallic ladder before you. As your eyes follow the rungs upward, you notice that it extends endlessly into the sky. The clouds encircle it miles above you, and you feel the importance of its presence. You reach your hand forward to touch it. The rungs are cold, yet inviting. Abandoning all common sense, you reach out and grab it. One step at a time, you climb higher and farther from the ground. You feel the breeze of high elevation as the air gets colder and thinner. With each step up, you feel as if you are closer to a magnificent presence. It calls to you, urging you to continue. Abandon all hope. Leave this petty world. Grant yourself courage. Continue. You no longer can see the ground. The blue of the sky turns grey, and then black. You are no longer in the atmosphere of the world. For a moment, you panic. Everything you understood about the world seems different. You aren't breathing anymore. It isn't necessary. You don't see anymore, but it doesn't trouble you. You just keep climbing. Why? You'll understand fully when you reach the end. When you meet the power that urged you to ascend the ladder in the sky.
