I actually dig this track as it is :-)
I like the low almost 'gritty' but at the same time mellow bass and the chiming tones with the birds; it's all very chilling, and makes for a good ambiance/atmosphere - is that what you were going for? I like it :-)

Fubaka responds:

That is indeed closer to what I was going for, yes. If anything, the song blends the strange melodic tones of many Boards of Canada tracks (mainly Happy Cycling), with the mellow and often sedating ambiance of certain Aphex Twin ambient works (Rhubarb, perhaps).

As much as I think of having my own style, those two will never escape my subconscious, and that is perhaps a good thing. Thanks for your review! Glad you liked it.

This actually sounds really fucking creepy xD, I dont know if you wanted it to sound like this, if yes then it's good, but if you did not, then there's lots of things that you need to fix:
-The main instrument is way too loud
-The melody is kinda bad, you have to work on composing
The bass is pretty good i think.

Fubaka responds:

To me, this song is a lot like red wine. It takes a lot of exposure before you actually find it enjoyable.

I'm not surprised you think the melody is bad. However, I know how to compose, and it is because I know that I attempted this song. It was an attempt to expand my tonal repertoire.

Believe me, I listened to this thing maybe 100 times before I posted it here. Had I not had faith in it, I would have left it to gather dust in my scrapyard.
