Well, this doesn't sound like a premade midi, and it sounded like it took tons of time, but... you missed a lot of content and tons of the notes were wrong. Please, just search for an mp3 of the original, or listen to the game (emulator, or system) so that you can get the notes right, instead of being foolish and trying to do this from memory. I definatley agree with the guy below me. And yes, many of the instruments sounded like MIDI synths that didn't have much dimension. It was also too fast. Honestly, i am NOT sorry to give you a 0/5 and 1/10, because this was unbearably bad.

Although i used a Pre-Made midi, my version may be a much better example of both instrument choice and better synths: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/250437

"Maybe I'm just a perfectionist..."

But I really couldn't stand that! I'm sorry. There were so many wrong notes. I dunno if you put them in there on purpose or not but they made the song sound really bad... Another thing that I think could've been better was at 0:15 where the notes get held until the next one. I always thought it would be more staccato-ish than lagato (If you know what those words mean).

On the plus side, I liked the choice of instruments. It was like an update to the games soundtrack. Some of them sounded a bit MIDI-ish though.

Overall, I hope I wasn't being too harsh. It's well put together, but wrong notes (Intentional or no) are a big pet peeve of mine.

This has the original beat to it! But it also has a creepy kind of noise to it, almost like a kiddie horror movie. But that just makes it better!
