This was a sort of heavy synth/industrial/rock/thing? inspired by DOOM and Quake.

I like the chords at the beginning, and how you gradually start incorporating the dark, ominous elements into this piece. You might have some balancing/Equalizing issues, though, because the chords really get drowned out after the guitar comes in. I'm also not sure why the chords randomly stop playing at :53 and then come back in at 1:10 without some sort of transition. It was pretty minimalistic throughout, although I like that edgy guitar sound you have here. You also have the same mellow drum beat going for almost the whole piece. It couldn't hurt to add a more snappy snare sample at the very least, especially when the intensity builds at 1:48. I like the synth you introduced at 2:05, but I think you should've had some more melodic content in there towards the end, just to make it feel more conclusive. I generally think fade-out endings are boring and even lazy. I'd love to see a more creative conclusion to this piece. Overall, though, it's not a bad track. I think it just needs a little more structuring and harmonizing. Also, this is the 1,000th song I've reviewed on Newgrounds, so you should feel special, haha. ;) Keep at it, man! ^^
