The instrumental version of the third single off my new album The Box Vol. 2: Regeneration which you can get on Itunes, BandCamp, Google Play, and other stores! My good friend J-Dawg and I had fun collaborating, he's amazing at guitar.

Huh, when I heard the preview on youtube, the flute was also a guitar. I think I liked that better, to be honest. Also, it might just be me, but I feel like there's not enough bass. The rhythm guitar kind of sounds distant. Mixing aside, I love the progression. I especially enjoyed the synths :D

I liked the flute at the beginning and how you gradually incorporated the heavy guitar sounds into the mix. However, at :13, the way the guitar sort of stops and starts again doesn't really fit well with the flowy melody of the flute IMO. After that, it definitely continued to be engaging and energetic, while perhaps lacking some harmonies. I also thought the drums were much too quiet. It's hard for me to tell if this is a mixing issue or the volume is just turned way too far down, but either way louder drums will help enhance the intensity of this track greatly. I like the distorted guitar, but I also think you needed some structural relief somewhere: a breakdown or more melodic bridge/solo would really help keep my engagement to the end. This piece as it is isn't too long, either, so I think you could afford to add to the structure a bit. Furthermore, you never bring back the flute from the intro at any other part of the piece, and there's little else that helps me distinguish between the structural elements of the track. Also, the ending is extremely sudden. You could've at least used some reverb to make it feel more conclusive, but as it is it almost sounds like the recording got cut off. Still, I think this piece has a lot of potential, but right now it lacks some structural considerations. Hope this helped. Keep at it, man! ^^
