Electronic - Video Game

Author Comments

This is one of two loops that I intended to expand into full songs. After about a month without any progress, I decided to turn them into BGM loops for the NG community to use. They are both inspired by Rockstar Games' masterpiece, Grand Theft Auto V; obviously I'm no Tangerine Dream though.

This was one of the first compositions I wrote with a MIDI controller, it is essentially a self-introduction to electronic music, with a few experiments thrown in.

In South Los Santos, the Families and the Ballas have been playing out a bitter rivalry for over thirty years; territories change hands, the LSPD struggles to maintain control, and the only people you can trust are the members of your sect.

This is an original composition. You are free to use it for any projects on, or as a sample for non-commercial audio projects outside of Newgrounds.

Definitely gives the vision of a video game level!

I imagine it like walking through a huge house packed with people having a party while you're trying to find out some information about one of the gang leaders you mentioned in the comments. The song is laid back but yet feels like it could just suddenly take a turn at any moment once your cover is blown at the party.

Very nicely done! Smooth, good beat, and well made. Honestly, I could imagine this being in an actual GTA game so keep up the good work!
