I decided I wasn't done with it. The original version:

Feedback is appreciated! :)

I'll be honest, I clicked this only because of the name, I released a game last year called The Awakening RPG.
The song is fantastic! It's so emotional and beautiful and could have been a nice theme song or something to my game, it would fit right in.

Nice work. Very atmospheric. The reverb makes it sound very dreamy. It's true what dem0lecule says, about the reverb, that if you use less reverb on the lead instruments the song becomes more transparent, but I'm not too much bothered with it. This way it sounds more like all of the instruments are in the same space, and I think it fits the mood of the song. It's very personal. Just try out different ways of using reverb for yourself, and do what you think sounds best. I look forward to hear more from you.

:/ Wow, frontpage and no review... This is the first then.

Beautiful melodies and harmonics in general. The vibes and moods of this piece are a nice addition to the strangely uplifting emotions. There is a great mix of mystery and fantasy-esque feel in the overall flow of the piece. Superb mixing and mastering. Took me a while to notice the "pads", were in fact, choir and woodwinds! Excellent choices of instruments.

There are a few criticisms I would like to point out. Just a few. The beginning of the track is cut off. This problem often happens to samples which didn't faded properly. I suggest you add a slightly short fade-in. Mixing is great, however, I think there are quite too much reverb through out the piece. This is only my 2 cents, instead of global reverb like you did in here, switch the selective reverb to legato instruments, and have a tiny addition of echo/delay to the xylophone. This will produce the same dreamy feeling, however, with better and clearer sounds.

Great work so far. 10/10.

Thanks for your suggestions! I'll try to remember them for future tracks. Glad you enjoyed the music! :)
