A remix/remake of the song, Dire Dire Docks from Super Mario 64. This song is one of my favorite all time songs, so I had to pay tribute to it with a remake of my own.
As always, all constructive criticism is welcomed

TheGamechanger said everything I wanted to say, except for one thing: The whole "transitioning from ear to ear" thing got kind of annoying. Plus, sometimes the melody is off by a bit (like at certain points, the melody is faster than the percussion and it just doesn't work or sound good). Aside from those problems, this is a nice cover! I think you should try making something yourself though, instead of just making remixes and covers.

I know the percussion doesnt match up with the melody, I had some trouble with that, but thanks for pointing it out. I'll definitely try to do something more original in the future!

Ahh, the nostalgia! This too is one of my favorite themes.

This remix isn't quite as strong of the original, but its spirit was retained, for you've managed to successfully capture the soul of the original and put your own spin on it.

My only complaint is that is could still be stronger, such as adding water sounds to it and increasing the tone a bit on some of the notes. Other than that it's an excellent remix and I wish you good luck on future songs.

Lionelion responds:

Thanks for the review! I actually did want to make this a bit louder, but I wasnt able to due to the limitations of the software I was working with. I'll probably be remixing this song again in the future, so thanks for notes!
