It's a good riff and it sure is heavy just like the name of it. D: Haha, anyway another piece that I hope did good in the contest that it was used for. Anyway, just like on most short pieces like this it sounds like something is missing or that it just needed something else. There isn't much you can do in such a short submission to make it like this though I suppose. Oh well, it's still pretty good.

I agree with speedmetalmessiah. Are you using a Boss? Cos I know their phasers are kinda overwhelming. MXR Phase 90: I highly recomend it. Idk it's that's the kinda sound you want, but it has just the right about ofsaturation. And yes, that riff is way heavy, I'd back off a bit on the distortion since you're recording, but other than that, great.

Line6 here. As you can see this track is pretty old. It's not that I'm not upgrading my stuff. ;) If you check out my new stuff, you'll hear the difference...for sure. >:)

The riff is pretty heavy but as someone said it feels too genernic and as if its missing something, also feels as if there's too much happening and the rumbling noise is a bit annoying.
Alright, not the artist's best.

It's a good riff (and it sure IS heavy), but there's something missing... It just sounds a bit too generic for me. But I like the effects you used towards the end. It adds a lot of diversity, even though this one is so short.
